Over two months after the character and mecha polls went live (on August 7), the popularity results were finally announced. This was not a scientific poll; fans were encouraged to vote as often as they liked, though they could vote only once a day. On October 16, the top 30 winners in each category were announced on Twitter with newly-created art to commemorate the top five.<\/p>\n
