According to cosmic mythology, Aquarius, the Water planet that brought water and life to Earth over 4 billion years ago, is approaching Earth once again. However, no one in the human race knows this fact yet.

Aquarius is a beautiful planet that glows with a pale blue light, surrounded by numerous rings of ice that intersect like electron rings. However, Aquarius causes torrential downpours when approaching a planet, covering them in Water. Earth once witnessed the birth of life thanks to this, but the age of advanced civilization means its extinction.

While humanity is still unaware of it, something unusual is already happening far away. Another galaxy, which slips in from a different dimension, collides with our galaxy, causing great chaos among many stars.

No one in humanity knows of the impending crisis threatening the Earth

The Earth Defense Force dispatches the Space Battleship Yamato to investigate this anomaly. Yamato rolls through the turbulent universe, affected by the collision of galaxies, heading toward the planet Gallman-Gamilas where Dessler resides…

Kodai and his companions finally arrive at Galman-Gamilas, and all they see is Dessler’s palace, already reduced to ruins. Kodai is left speechless.

“Dessler, we sometimes hated each other and fought each other, but you were also a good person with whom I could truly connect on a deeper level…”

Suddenly, the surrounding space begins to rumble loudly. Sensing danger, Yamato decides to warp. But without time to make proper warp calculations, they don’t know where the warp will take them. Yamato reappears near the planet Dengil. But the planet is submerged by a torrential downpour and flood, and they witness many people crying out for help. They are only able to save one Dengil boy.

Kodai Falls when a special missile attacks Yamato

“Kodai, the boy’s skin is a special color, not seen in humans. Yet, His body tissue is the same as humans…” Sanada exclaims in surprise.

As Yamato saila on, still unaware of the boy’s true identity, a large mobile fleet suddenly appears before them. It is Lugal II, the eldest son of the grand president of Dengil, who barely escaped the flooding planet. He announces, “All who appear before us are enemies. Launch the special missiles!”

Yamato begins its counter-attack. But one missile hits the ship, creating a huge hole in its thick armor plating. Cosmic radiation pours into the ship through the opening. “Everyone, put on your space suits!” Kodai orders. And just as Kodai is about to put on his helmet, cosmic radiation hits the bridge.

None of Yamato‘s crew members are able to move. Having lost control, Yamato plunges toward the ninth planet of the Dengil star system.

At that time, the Earth Defense Force headquarters is in chaos. In 16 days, the water planet will make an abnormally close approach to Earth. Earth will be completely submerged. What will become of Yamato and Earth? The story gets more and more exciting as it heads toward its conclusion.

Highlights

Is Dessler dead?

Dessler’s palace is reduced to ruins, leading one to believe he is dead, but he reappears in the latter half of the film, saving Kodai and others from danger. Dessler is an indispensable character in The Final Chapter!

Captain Okita’s return

Juzo Okita, who was supposed to have died from space radiation sickness, is resurrected. Why? Because he reappears to serve the central theme of the story. He is a father figure who encourages Kodai, who has lost many crew members during battle and lost his confidence as a captain. And the story cannot be completed without Captain Okita’s appearance.

Maybe she will become Yuki Kodai?

In the Yamato series, the relationship between Susumu Kodai and Yuki Mori is always a point of interest. Will they remain lovers, or will they get married? The Final Chapter will revolve around the personal growth of the two main characters. This is a big hint, but for now we’ll just say that it seems like she could become Yuki Kodai. You’ll have to watch to find out the rest.

Movie Yamato Memorial Catalog

Return to previous article

[1

post-44453","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-uncategorized
["GET
