Materials for Episode 1 were spread across two walls. Every episode was represented by a mixture of storyboards, genga (animation drawings), background paintings, and cels. When original art was available, it was displayed in a frame. Stills and memorable lines of dialogue ran across the top of each wall, along with the day-by-day countdown to extinction.<\/p>\n
