The Brilliant Dimension of Terry<\/em>

Terry Terauchi was a legendary rhythm guitarist who launched his music career in 1962 and mastered one genre after another. This album was an excellent showcase for his skills and includes a cover of the Yamato<\/em> theme with the highest possible pedigree: arrangement by Hiroshi Miyagawa and vocal accompaniment by Kazuko Kawashima.<\/p>\n

Toin Gakuen Junior High School Concert<\/em>
\nIndependent label<\/p>\n

This was a limited edition pressing (probably numbering no more than a few hundred) of a March concert that covered five Yamato<\/em> compositions, including the main theme and The Scarlet Scarf.<\/em><\/p>\n

Also from Nippon Columbia came a pair of double LP sets, both of which represented all-star anime lineups. Fantastic Animation 24<\/em> (left) had OP and ED themes from 12 series: Yamato, Captain Harlock, 999, Gatchaman, Triton<\/em>, and more. <\/p>\n

Terebi Manga Hit Parade 24<\/em> (right) did the same with Yamato, Doraemon, Lupin III, Star of the Giants<\/em> and others. If you bought both, there was enough crossover to cancel out one record between them.<\/p>\n
