It\u2019s larger, heavier, and many details differ from its predecessor.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ourstarblazers.com\/vault-images\/nov21\/594a30.JPG\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<p>It maintains a feature that has existed on the \u201cred battle carrier\u201d from the early days, the rotating deck plates that transform it from a flattop to a gun platform.<\/p>\n<p>See a gallery of finished kits <a href='https:\/\/www.ourstarblazers.com\/vault\/d3model1121'>here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ourstarblazers.com\/vault-images\/nov21\/594a81.JPG\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<h3>1\/1000 <em>Asuka<\/em> model<\/h3>\n<p><em>October 30, 2021<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Those who have been jonesing for a new version of the 1978 EDF carrier finally got their wish when the <em>Asuka<\/em> and <em>Hyuga<\/em> were revealed, and <em>Asuka<\/em> was the first one out of the chute in 3D.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ourstarblazers.com\/vault-images\/nov21\/594a82.JPG\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<p>At this scale it&#8217;s just under 10&#8243; long and includes an LED lighting unit for the bridge. A 1\/1000 <em>Hyuga<\/em> hasn&#8217;t been announced yet, but it sure would be nice to see one released with Part 2.<\/p>\n<p><a href='https:\/\/www.ourstarblazers.com\/vault\/asuka1121'>Click here<\/a> for a gallery of finished kits.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ourstarblazers.com\/vault-images\/dec21\/609a09.JPG\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<h3>Mecha Collection model kit 02<\/h3>\n<p><em>November 6, 2021<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The second mini-kit for <em>Yamato 2205<\/em> was a Garmillas Guipellon-class three-deck carrier in green, sporting the new name <em>Balmes.<\/em><\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ourstarblazers.com\/vault-images\/dec21\/609a10.JPG\" border=\"0\" \/><br \/>\n<em>Finished kit, photos posted on Yahoo Japan by ipfpk05308<\/em><\/p>\n<p>It looks very similar to <em>2199<\/em>&#8216;s <em>Lambea<\/em>, but the upper deck is slightly reshaped and the striping is quite different. Compare it to the earlier kit <a href='https:\/\/www.ourstarblazers.com\/vault\/mc4lambeamodel\/'>here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ourstarblazers.com\/vault-images\/dec23\/862a18.JPG\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<h3>1\/350 <em>Hyuga<\/em> Diecast Gimmick Model<\/h3>\n<p><em>June 2022 to March 2024<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Following the weekly releases of their 1\/350 <em>Yamato<\/em> and <em>Andromeda<\/em> models, which took over three years between them, Hachette followed up with Combat Carrier <em>Hyuga<\/em> and no less than 40 individual aircraft to stock it with. Like the previous models, it was equipped with lights and sound effects, and took 80 volumes to complete.
