A great voyage of endless love and struggle \/ Space Battleship Yamato<\/em><\/h3>\n

Yamato<\/em> fans can be classified into three types: \u2460 Those who are completely enthusiastic and think that anything Yamato<\/em> is good, \u2461 Those who like the TV version of Yamato<\/em> but don’t like the movies, \u2462 Those who like the first TV series and movie, but are not impressed with part 2. And surprisingly, opinions \u2461 and \u2462 make up the majority of Yamato<\/em> fans.<\/p>\n

“Part 1 was great after all. The story didn’t get into a rut…the crew of Yamato<\/em> and the enemy Gamilas were great as well”<\/p>\n

There are many voices, but what do you think? The appeal of Yamato<\/em> can be summed up in these words:<\/p>\n

“No other work captures the courage and love of humanity so well. I saw in Yamato<\/em> the sense of justice that rises up in times of crisis”<\/p>\n

In Part 1, we were amazed by the idea of a ship flying in the sky, and the love that was born between Mamoru Kodai and Starsha was heartwarming. Part 2 kept us on the edge of our seats until the very end.<\/p>\n

“Daisuke Shima is cool because he is calm and collected at all times”<\/p>\n

“Shiro Sanada, with his intellect, is better than Kodai.”<\/p>\n

Each member of the crew has their own fans, and the villain Dessler has also become popular. <\/p>\n

The highlight of part 2 is the scene where Dessler and Susumu Kodai face off. The crew members move to Dessler’s ship. Shima is injured in the fierce battle, and Kodai gets a shoulder wound. Kodai and Dessler have a fateful showdown!! In the movie Farewell to Yamato<\/em>, Dessler ejects himself out into space, and the sight of him drifting away was very impressive.<\/p>\n

Many memorable love scenes were created in part 2, but the sad farewell between Shima and Teresa was very moving. Teresa, who refused to accompany Yamato<\/em> and decided to share the fate of the planet Telezart, watches Yamato<\/em> depart with tears in her eyes.<\/p>\n

Part 2 ended with a scene in which Kodai Susumu and Yuki plunge the white comet with Yamato<\/em>. However, in a special program that aired on Fuji TV on July 21 last year [The New Voyage<\/em>, aired July 31], Kodai and Yuki were not dead. Many fans were surprised by the different outcome from the movie, but the majority applauded with joy at the prospect that “Yamato<\/em> will rise for the third time.”<\/p>\n

And this summer, Yamato<\/em>‘s third work, Be Forever Yamato<\/em>, will appear before us. Will it surpass the well-received part 1!?<\/p>\n
