He drinks heavily and never lets go of his bottle, but his skills are top-notch. He has many admirers for his unconventional way of dealing with people, such as quietly offering a room in the medical section as a place for new recruits to relax and turning a blind eye.<\/p>\n

On his first voyage to Iscandar, he secretly investigated and monitored the movements of the anti-Yamato<\/em> Plan faction, working as inside man for Heikuro Todo, head of the Yamato<\/em> Plan Headquarters, and actually suppressed the mutiny.<\/p>\n

After the reorganization of the 65th Escort Squadron, it seems he’s no longer on duty in the fleet. There are reports that he’s been promoted, but his current position is unknown. It seems his relationship with his wife, Yuria, is still very close after five years of marriage.<\/p>\n

Yuria Hoshina<\/h3>\n

In 2199 AD, she was the youngest crew member to board the Yamato<\/em>. After that, she served on board the Experimental Wave-Motion Ship Ginga<\/em> and the Combat Aircraft Carrier Hyuga<\/em>. She has grown to the point where she is in charge of the main radar on the Hyuga<\/em>.<\/p>\n

She married Toru Hoshina, then a member of the Yamato<\/em> Security Force, whom she met on the first voyage to Iscandar. Even now, in their fifth year of marriage, Yuria’s repertoire of dishes continues to expand.<\/p>\n

Served as vice commander of Yamato<\/em>‘s Air Corps and captain of the Hyuga<\/em> Air Force. <\/p>\n

During the reorganization of the 65th Escort Squadron, he was approached by Vice-Commander Serizawa to take over the position of Hyuga<\/em> Captain. Although the requirement for an aircraft carrier captain is to have pilot experience, this was beyond Shinohara’s imagination. At first, he strongly expressed his intention to resign, but upon hearing of the “Operation DAD” concept, which centered on people with experience in fighting Dezarium, he accepted.<\/p>\n

Captain of the Space Cavalry. She is an experienced cavalry member. She succeeded Hajime Saito, the former captain who was killed in battle, and led her 31 troops to rescue planet Iscandar. She is the best in her unit at handling the new Type 5 mobile armor. Despite her rough tone, she has a gentle view toward her troops.<\/p>\n

Nagakura’s unit was stationed on the Supply Carrier Asuka<\/em>, but due to the reorganization of the 65th Escort Squadron, the entire unit has been relocated.<\/p>\n

She is a good and understanding person who continues to support Saki Todo, the captain of the ship, both in private and in public. She is a graduate of MIT and a student of Shiro Sanada.<\/p>\n

Currently, Ginga<\/em> is engaged in repair work at Saturn, which remains severely damaged after the Gatlantis War. During the Gatlantis War, she received guidance on ship handling techniques from Daisuke Shima. At that time, Ichinose was a young woman with a fierce side who was not satisfied with her own abilities and wanted to improve her reaction speed even if it meant mechanizing her body. Now, four years later, those thoughts are gone from her mind. <\/p>\n

Her extreme sense of elitism has faded, and she has become able to look at things with an open mind. After all, people change.<\/p>\n

She enrolled at the North American Space Naval Academy at the end of the Garmillas War. Although she was highly praised for her ability to overturn all the tactics of the command AI, she caused problems and was expelled from school. After the end of the war, she was invited by Megumi Kanzaki to join the “G Plan”, promoted by the Far East District. She is involved in the development of tactical AI for the Experimental Wave-Motion Ship Ginga<\/em>.<\/p>\n
