There’s a very substantial “possible cut” that starts on this page and most of the next. We’re lucky the editor opted not to delete this sequence; it’s an important breather after the intensity of this most famous sequence. It feels 100% earned, and deserves a moment to settle before we get back to business.

In the original episode, Royster got one line in this scene. It was most likely cut from Star Blazers<\/em> not because they wanted to get rid of Royster, but because it’s prohibitively expensive to call an actor into the studio to read only one line.
