The track numbers are from the 2012 CD titled <em>Space Battleship Yamato Sound Almanac 1974-1<\/em>. This album can be purchased at iTunes under the search term <em>Starblazers Sound Almanac.<\/em><\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ourstarblazers.com\/vault-images\/mar13\/75804.JPG\" border=0 \/><\/p>\n<p>The album includes 57 individual tracks, only 50 of which are referenced here. Tracks 51-57 contain short \u201cbridge\u201d music cues and unused tracks. Additionally, opening and closing title songs were not included on the disc. Balanodon Special Attack Group!<\/h3>\n<p><span class=\"textBlue\">34<\/span> Opening narration<br \/>\n<span class=\"textBlue\">07<\/span> The narrator describes the volcanic properties of Balan.<br \/>\n<span class=\"textBlue\">08<\/span> Geru tries to convince Domel of the effectiveness of his Balanodon monster.<br \/>\n<span class=\"textBlue\">08<\/span> Geru and Domel disagree on strategy.<br \/>\n<span class=\"textBlue\">49<\/span> After a warp, Okita collapses. Dr. Sado decides that he needs an operation.<br \/>\n<span class=\"textBlue\">31<\/span> Dr. Sado operates as the crew worries.<br \/>\n<span class=\"textBlue\">34<\/span> Geru launches with a swarm of creatures who will form Balanodon.<br \/>\n<span class=\"textBlue\">16<\/span> Geru forms Balanodon and destroys a dummy <em>Yamato<\/em>.<br \/>\n<span class=\"textBlue\">15<\/span> Domel is informed that Geru has launched an attack.<br \/>\n<span class=\"textBlue\">22<\/span> The Balanodon approaches <em>Yamato<\/em>. Two Men Brave Death!<\/h3>\n<p><span class=\"textBlue\">34<\/span> Opening narration<br \/>\n<span class=\"textBlue\">35<\/span> A scout is sent out to investigate a strange object, but is destroyed by magnetic repulsion.<br \/>\n<span class=\"textBlue\">26<\/span> Kodai and Sanada launch in a seamless plane to destroy the object, which turns out to be a robot-controlled satellite fortress.<br \/>\n<span class=\"textBlue\">24<\/span> In a flashback, Sanada tells Kodai about his friendship with Kodai&#8217;s brother, and how he maintained his ship.<br \/>\n<span class=\"textBlue\">44<\/span> In a 2nd flashback, Sanada tells Kodai about an accident he had as a child, where his sister died.<br \/>\n<span class=\"textBlue\">25<\/span> Kodai and Sanada continue exploring the satellite fortress as <em>Yamato<\/em> starts suffering from the satellite&#8217;s influence.<br \/>\n<span class=\"textBlue\">09<\/span> As <em>Yamato<\/em> is damaged, Okita considers a warp.<br \/>\n<span class=\"textBlue\">31<\/span> The fortresses self-defense mechanism ensnares Sanada&#8217;s limbs.<br \/>\n<span class=\"textBlue\">42<\/span> Kodai frees Sanada from his cyborg limbs and carries him to the exit. Sanada instructs Kodai to leave him there so he can detonate the bombs in his discarded cyborg limbs.<br \/>\n<span class=\"textBlue\">05<\/span> Just as <em>Yamato<\/em> is about to warp, it receives a communication from Kodai. Sanada detonates his limbs and the fortress is destroyed.<br \/>\n<span class=\"textBlue\">15<\/span> On Balan, Domel mocks the failure of Geru&#8217;s satellite fortress.<br \/>\n<span class=\"textBlue\">36<\/span> Back on <em>Yamato<\/em>, Sanada greets Kodai with new limbs and says his brother still lives in their hearts.<\/p>\n<h3>Episode 19: Homesickness of Space! My Mother&#8217;s Tears are My Tears!<\/h3>\n<p><span class=\"textBlue\">34<\/span> Opening narration<br \/>\n<span class=\"textBlue\">XX<\/span> Aihara sees images from Earth in the holodeck (unreleased track).<br \/>\n<span class=\"textBlue\">09<\/span> An ailing Okita is escorted to a communications room to talk to Earth HQ.<br \/>\n<span class=\"textBlue\">30<\/span> Aihara interrupts the communication with an outburst, expressing doubts about the mission.<br \/>\n<span class=\"textBlue\">11<\/span> The bridge crew and Sado have dinner with Okita.<br \/>\n<span class=\"textBlue\">45<\/span> Okita addresses Aihara&#8217;s doubts and says they must all have hope.<br \/>\n<span class=\"textBlue\">01<\/span> Aihara makes a secret call to his parents on Earth. His father dies. Kodai catches him and Aihara flees.<br \/>\n<span class=\"textBlue\">49<\/span> Kodai looks for Aihara on the bridge. A deranged Aihara leaps out into space in a spacesuit.<br \/>\n<span class=\"textBlue\">41<\/span> Domel explains that he established a relay satellite to enable communications with Earth and erode the humans&#8217; morale.<br \/>\n<span class=\"textBlue\">17<\/span> Aihara floats in space, far from <em>Yamato<\/em>.<br \/>\n<span class=\"textBlue\">23<\/span> Aihara has a vision of Earth, but soon runs into Domel&#8217;s relay satellite.<br \/>\n<span class=\"textBlue\">14<\/span> Kodai locates Aihara. They destroy the relay satellite\/Ending narration.<\/p>\n<h3>Episode 20: The Day Planet Balan&#8217;s Sun Fell!<\/h3>\n<p><span class=\"textBlue\">34<\/span> Opening narration<br \/>\n<span class=\"textBlue\">16<\/span> Kodai and Analyzer fly over Balan and observe that the Sun orbits the planet. They also find a Gamilas base.<br \/>\n<span class=\"textBlue\">30<\/span> Kodai notices Balanodon skeletons strewn about.<br \/>\n<span class=\"textBlue\">13<\/span> Scene switches to Domel&#8217;s fleet, waiting in space.<br \/>\n<span class=\"textBlue\">15<\/span> Balan&#8217;s missile batteries are prepared for <em>Yamato<\/em>&#8216;s arrival.<br \/>\n<span class=\"textBlue\">27<\/span> As <em>Yamato<\/em> prepares for battle on Balan, Kodai tells Ohta to keep an eye on the sun.<br \/>\n<span class=\"textBlue\">38<\/span> As <em>Yamato<\/em> engages with the missiles from Balan, the (artificial) sun begins to descend on the ship.<br \/>\n<span class=\"textBlue\">29<\/span> Okita tells Kodai to fire the Wave-Motion gun at the sun.<br \/>\n<span class=\"textBlue\">41<\/span> <em>Yamato<\/em> races to fire on the rapidly descending artificial sun. Kodai tells Shima to descend while rotating to save time.<br \/>\n<span class=\"textBlue\">07<\/span> Dessler calls to tell Domel to halt his plan, and the artificial sun halts its descent.<br \/>\n<span class=\"textBlue\">31<\/span> After the Wave-Motion Gun is fired, the sun explodes and destroys the Balan base. <em>Yamato<\/em> emerges from the fireball, to Domel&#8217;s chagrin. A team lands on Balan to collect plant samples.<br \/>\n<span class=\"textBlue\">37<\/span> The landing team returns to <em>Yamato<\/em> with live plant and animal samples.<br \/>\n<span class=\"textBlue\">05<\/span> Okita makes Kodai the deputy captain\/Ending narration.<\/p>\n<h3>Episode 21: Desperate Challenge from Domel&#8217;s Fleet!<\/h3>\n<p><span class=\"textBlue\">10<\/span> Opening narration<br \/>\n<span class=\"textBlue\">21<\/span> After a military hearing on Gamilas, Domel is sentenced to death for his failure. Instead, Dessler vetoes the verdict and charges Domel with destroying <em>Yamato<\/em> in a final assault.<br \/>\n<span class=\"textBlue\">05<\/span> Domel accepts the assignment and vows victory.<br \/>\n<span class=\"textBlue\">41<\/span> Kodai and Sanada predict that the Gamilas will be even more desperate in their attacks after their defeat at Balan.<br \/>\n<span class=\"textBlue\">15<\/span> Domel shows Geru his new weaponry: the Instantaneous Matter Transporter and the Drill Missile.<br \/>\n<span class=\"textBlue\">27<\/span> After receiving a challenge from Domel, Kodai and the bridge crew argue over whether to accept or not.<br \/>\n<span class=\"textBlue\">33<\/span> Okita accepts the challenge. Three Gamilas space carriers land and assemble on Gamilas to support Domel&#8217;s operation.<br \/>\n<span class=\"textBlue\">23<\/span> As <em>Yamato<\/em> crew prepare for the engagement, Dr. Sado drinks sake with Analyzer.<br \/>\n<span class=\"textBlue\">13<\/span> On Gamilas, Dessler prepares to send off the Gamilas fleet under Domel&#8217;s command.<br \/>\n<span class=\"textBlue\">33<\/span> The carrier fleet launches from Gamilas.<br \/>\n<span class=\"textBlue\">34<\/span> Okita gathers the entire crew for a (water) toast and wishes them good luck. <em>Yamato<\/em> approaches the Rainbow Star Cluster.<br \/>\n<span class=\"textBlue\">10<\/span> <em>Yamato<\/em>&#8216;s fighter pilots launch in their Black Tigers. The Gamilas fleet assumes battle positions. The two opposing forces face each other on opposite sides of the Rainbow Star Cluster\/Ending narration.<\/p>\n<h3>Episode 22: Decisive Battle! Fight For Honor At The Rainbow Star Cluster!<\/h3>\n<p><span class=\"textBlue\">06<\/span> Cold open (no title sequence) with opening narration as Domel&#8217;s forces and <em>Yamato<\/em> approach the Rainbow Star Cluster.<br \/>\n<span class=\"textBlue\">16<\/span> As Gamilas fighters from Carrier group 1 are detected, Kodai and the Black Tigers launch and engage them. Carrier 2&#8217;s dive bombers launch.<br \/>\n<span class=\"textBlue\">35<\/span> With Kodai&#8217;s fighters lured away, Carrier 2&#8217;s dive bombers are teleported to <em>Yamato<\/em> and begin their attack runs. The Black Tigers return and drive off the bombers.<br \/>\n<span class=\"textBlue\">08<\/span> Domel begins teleporting Carrier 3&#8217;s torpedo boats to <em>Yamato<\/em>&#8216;s unguarded flank.<br \/>\n<span class=\"textBlue\">40<\/span> The Battle Carrier launches a fighter carrying the Drill Missile. Meanwhile the Black Tigers return to <em>Yamato<\/em> for refueling.<br \/>\n<span class=\"textBlue\">13<\/span> After the Drill Missile has been launched and embedded in the muzzle of the Wave-Motion Gun, it begins drilling deeper into the ship. Sanada and Analyzer enter the missile to try and reverse it.<br \/>\n<span class=\"textBlue\">40<\/span> Domel and his carriers move in for the kill and begin firing long-range cannons.<br \/>\n<span class=\"textBlue\">39<\/span> <em>Yamato<\/em> fires back, but its artillery is eventually destroyed. Sanada works to reverse the Drill Missile. Domel praises <em>Yamato<\/em> for fighting well.<br \/>\n<span class=\"textBlue\">16<\/span> After the reversed Drill Missile has destroyed Domel&#8217;s carrier fleet, he orders his command ship to charge <em>Yamato<\/em>. Weaponless, Okita orders evasive action, and <em>Yamato<\/em> dives into a thick gas cloud. Domel uses sonar and drops (?) depth charges on <em>Yamato<\/em>.<br \/>\n<span class=\"textBlue\">49<\/span> Domel announces that he has no choice but to self-destruct his ship in order to take out <em>Yamato<\/em>. He attaches his ship to the bottom of <em>Yamato<\/em>.<br \/>\n<span class=\"textBlue\">24<\/span> Domel&#8217;s self-destruction blows a huge hole in the bottom of <em>Yamato<\/em>. A ceremony is held on the deck of <em>Yamato<\/em> for the casualties. Coffins float away behind <em>Yamato<\/em>\/Ending narration (followed by credits over normal opening titles).<\/p>\n<h3>Episode 23: Finally Arrived! Crest of the Magellanic Cloud&#8217;s Wave!<\/h3>\n<p><span class=\"textBlue\">20<\/span> As <em>Yamato<\/em> approaches a white cloud in space, Shima&#8217;s instruments begin acting strangely.<br \/>\n<span class=\"textBlue\">36<\/span> <em>Yamato<\/em> receives a transmission from Starsha. The crew celebrates their near-arrival. Opening narration.<br \/>\n<span class=\"textBlue\">37<\/span> After Yuki flirts with Kodai, Dr. Sado gives him some advice.<br \/>\n<span class=\"textBlue\">17<\/span> Missiles approach from the direction of Iscandar.<br \/>\n<span class=\"textBlue\">07<\/span> The destroyed missiles create a magnetic jamming field. Kodai orders Kato to go out and gather pieces for examination.<br \/>\n<span class=\"textBlue\">30<\/span> The crew discovers that the missile fragments are from Gamilas, and wonder if they have arrived at Gamilas instead of Iscandar.<br \/>\n<span class=\"textBlue\">15<\/span> On Gamilas, Dessler receives a surprise call from Starsha.<br \/>\n<span class=\"textBlue\">02<\/span> Starsha complains that Dessler is jamming her signal to <em>Yamato<\/em>. They argue about Dessler&#8217;s campaign against Earth.<br \/>\n<span class=\"textBlue\">31<\/span> Dessler describes to his generals the acidic\/volcanic makeup of Gamilas&#8217; interior, and his plan to sink <em>Yamato<\/em> with it.<br \/>\n<span class=\"textBlue\">36<\/span> Starsha communicates again and describes Iscandar as a twin planet to Gamilas. Bedridden in his quarters, Okita orders Kodai to defeat Gamilas.<br \/>\n<span class=\"textBlue\">16<\/span> A magnetic force field draws <em>Yamato<\/em> into Gamilas&#8217; interior, below the outer crust.<br \/>\n<span class=\"textBlue\">17<\/span> While floating on the sea of Gamilas, Analyzer reports that it is acidic. <em>Yamato<\/em> immediately launches, but the third bridge melts off\/Ending narration.<\/p>\n<h3>Episode 24: Death Struggle! God, Weep For The Gamilas!<\/h3>\n<p><span class=\"textBlue\">33<\/span> After ascending from the acid sea, <em>Yamato<\/em> is hit with falling bombs (depth charges)\/Opening narration.<br \/>\n<span class=\"textBlue\">39<\/span> Taking Okita&#8217;s advice, Kodai orders <em>Yamato<\/em> to submerge so Analyzer can scan for an underground volcanic stream to ignite with the Wave-Motion Gun.<br \/>\n<span class=\"textBlue\">03<\/span> After firing the WMG, volcanoes erupt all over Gamilas, destroying many cities. Dessler, at first stunned, begins laughing madly.<br \/>\n<span class=\"textBlue\">34<\/span> <em>Yamato<\/em> ascends from the acid sea. Dessler orders missiles to be launched at it from the hanging cities.<br \/>\n<span class=\"textBlue\">40<\/span> Missiles home in on <em>Yamato<\/em> and cause more damage. Kodai orders Shima to fly <em>Yamato<\/em> to the center of the Gamilas capital.<br \/>\n<span class=\"textBlue\">41<\/span> Between the falling missiles and <em>Yamato<\/em>&#8216;s shock cannons, more volcanoes erupt, the roof begins collapsing and hanging cities begin falling. Dessler is seemingly crushed beneath rocks.<br \/>\n<span class=\"textBlue\">07<\/span> Later, everything is silent as Gamilas lies in ruins. Kodai and Yuki realize that a planet has just died.<br \/>\n<span class=\"textBlue\">42<\/span> Kodai expresses profound regret at the conflict, and tells Yuki that all they can do is to continue on to Iscandar.<br \/>\n<span class=\"textBlue\">14<\/span> <em>Yamato<\/em> leaves Gamilas. At the sight of Iscandar, Okita thanks the crew from his bed\/Ending narration.<\/p>\n<h3>Episode 25: Iscandar! A Dying Planet Of Love!<\/h3>\n<p><span class=\"textBlue\">07<\/span> <em>Yamato<\/em> approaches Iscandar&#8217;s atmosphere<br \/>\n<span class=\"textBlue\">01<\/span> Starsha calls to welcome <em>Yamato<\/em> and give landing instructions. <em>Yamato<\/em> descends to the sea\/Opening narration.<br \/>\n<span class=\"textBlue\">02<\/span> Kodai, Yuki and others go out to meet Starsha, who stands on a hill.<br \/>\n<span class=\"textBlue\">42<\/span> Kodai explains to Starsha that her sister, Sasha, died on Mars during her mission to Earth.<br \/>\n<span class=\"textBlue\">11<\/span> Some of the crew tours the abandoned city of Iscandar on an train.<br \/>\n<span class=\"textBlue\">44<\/span> Starsha reunites Kodai with his brother, Mamoru.<br \/>\n<span class=\"textBlue\">45<\/span> After leaving in an upset state, Starsha explains to Yuki how she saved Mamoru from the Gamilas, but is sad that he must leave.<br \/>\n<span class=\"textBlue\">25<\/span> Yabu considers staying on Iscandar. Mamoru is taken to Okita&#8217;s quarters.<br \/>\n<span class=\"textBlue\">04<\/span> Kodai invites Starsha to come with them back to Earth, but she declines. She also tells him about a party of humans who have abandoned the ship and are heading toward a tectonically-unstable island to settle.<br \/>\n<span class=\"textBlue\">22<\/span> On the bridge of <em>Yamato<\/em>, Yabu radios in his intentions.<br \/>\n<span class=\"textBlue\">03<\/span> An Earthquake strikes and the deserters are killed. Yuki is saved by a drone sent from <em>Yamato<\/em>.<br \/>\n<span class=\"textBlue\">49<\/span> As Mamoru and <em>Yamato<\/em>\u2019s crew prepare to depart for Earth, Yuki urges Starsha to tell Mamoru about her feelings.<br \/>\n<span class=\"textBlue\">46<\/span> After Starsha tells Mamoru that she loves him and runs away, Mamoru decides to stay on Iscandar and runs after her.<br \/>\n<span class=\"textBlue\">47<\/span> <em>Yamato<\/em> launches from Iscandar and departs for home\/Ending narration.<\/p>\n<h3>Episode 26: Earth! <em>Yamato<\/em> Returns!<\/h3>\n<p><span class=\"textBlue\">36<\/span> Opening narration begins over scenes of the assembly of the Cosmo DNA machine.<br \/>\n<span class=\"textBlue\">50<\/span> Opening narration continues over previous scenes from Iscandar.<br \/>\n<span class=\"textBlue\">04<\/span> On <em>Yamato<\/em>&#8216;s bridge, the crew eagerly looks forward to returning home.<br \/>\n<span class=\"textBlue\">44<\/span> In his quarters, Okita contemplates with Sado where his soul will go after he dies.<br \/>\n<span class=\"textBlue\">15<\/span> Narration and flashback of Dessler&#8217;s escape from the destruction at Gamilas.<br \/>\n<span class=\"textBlue\">31<\/span> <em>Yamato<\/em> is impacted by Dessler&#8217;s ship after they both come out of warp.<br \/>\n<span class=\"textBlue\">41<\/span> After pumping in radioactive gas, Dessler leads an invasion force into <em>Yamato<\/em>.<br \/>\n<span class=\"textBlue\">42<\/span> Yuki rushes to the room where the untested Cosmo DNA machine is assembled and activates it to eliminate the radioactive gas.<br \/>\n<span class=\"textBlue\">46<\/span> Sanada tells Kodai that Yuki has died from a temporary flaw in the Cosmo DNA machine (which produced a brief moment of deadly radioactivity).<br \/>\n<span class=\"textBlue\">24<\/span> Kodai talks to Okita about his sadness, and Okita tells him to look forward to a new future.<br \/>\n<span class=\"textBlue\">01<\/span> As <em>Yamato<\/em> nears Earth, the crew rushes to the upper decks to get a view. Kodai walks in the opposite direction, dejected.<br \/>\n<span class=\"textBlue\">45<\/span> Kodai uncovers Yuki and carries her to the bridge. Yuki is solemnly placed in a bridge chair.<br \/>\n<span class=\"textBlue\">49<\/span> On his deathbed, Okita thanks Sado. After a final look at a picture of his son and family, Okita passes on. His escaping spirit apparently revives Yuki, who wakes up from lifelessness.<br \/>\n<span class=\"textBlue\">50<\/span> Kodai is overjoyed at Yuki&#8217;s miraculous recovery.
