– Considering only the in-episode BGM, the most used track is 1.25, “The Abandoned City” (13 hits), followed by 1.03, “Desperate Crisis”, and 1.23, “Ambition” (both with 12 hits), and 1.10, “The Recon Plane Takes Off” (11 hits).<\/p>\n

– “A Clockwork Prisoner” (2.06) wins in the most times used in a single episode, totaling four in Episode 9. “Enter Dessler” (1.32), is used three times in Episode 6.<\/p>\n

– “The Infinite Universe” (1.08) is only used once in the show, though it is used in all 25 previews. The other appearances of the iconic track are in the form of its Chorus Only version (3.15).<\/p>\n

– Another well-recognized track, “Cosmo Tiger” (1.31) is replaced in the show by Unr.02. The two are almost indistinguishable except the one in the show (and in some promotional videos) has a lot more vocal mixed into it.<\/p>\n

– In the movie version, Yamato<\/em>‘s departure from Iscandar has a different BGM, with “Yamato<\/em> Departs the Earth” (1.17), replaced by “Yamato<\/em> Sleeps Under the Setting Sun (Short)” (3.01), followed by “Pioneering Yamato<\/em> Theme (Short Version)” (Unr.09). It is the only such change between movie and Blu-Ray versions, not counting the scenes added to episode 25. As for the TV version…maybe one of these days i’ll dissect that too.<\/p>\n
