REBEL 3199 Mecha guide, part 4

Bolar Federation

Ganonda-type Space Carrier

The flagship of the Bolar Federation. It is often used as a fleet flagship.

It was built and commissioned under the 28th Plan of the Eternal Management Organization. The plan number indicates that it was planned later than the Kurotoga-type standard battleship and the Amanga-type missile battleship.

Ganonda means “patriotism” in the Bolar language (unlike Earth ships, Bolar do not use place names for their ships). As of 2207, it is equipped with Revoot aircraft (classified by Earth and Garmillan as “IK-301”).

The flagship of the fleet that violated Earth’s territorial waters under the leadership of Political Officer Boroze is a Ganonda-type space carrier named Labrokov (which means “the one (ship) who holds honor”).

Kurotoga-type Standard Battleship

When there was little information about the Bolar Federation, this battleship was classified as “A-type.” Kurotoga means “heroic action” in the Bolar language.

The 13th Plan, designed and implemented by the Permanent Management Organization, aimed to mass-produce “standard” battleships with stable performance, and the Kurotoga-type was a masterpiece that answered this request. Although the ship was commissioned more than half a century ago, the fact that it continues to be built as the main ship of the Bolar Federation, and is still deployed on the front lines, is proof of this.

In addition, a ship of this type drifted ashore on Mars, and the Mars Autonomous Government discovered it, analyzed it, and built a new type of space battleship. Later, this technology became known to Earth as well, and had a major impact on the ships of the United Nations Space Navy. The reason the Kurotoga-type was a technological leap forward for Earth’s space battleships was due to the solidity of its basic design.

Some ships have slight differences in the color of their positron beams depending on when they were built.

Amanga-type Missile Battleship

When there was little information about the Bolar Federation, this battleship was classified as “B-type.” Amanga means “massive destruction” in the Bolar language.

The 15th Plan, designed and implemented by the Permanent Management Organization, aimed to build a battleship with high offensive power to support the “standard” battleships that were being developed in the previous 13th Plan. Like the Kurotoga-type standard battleship, this ship is backed by a solid design and continues to be deployed as one of the Bolar Federation’s main battleships.
Its missiles have been updated even since the end of 15th Plan, and ships built later have slight differences in specifications from those commissioned in the early days.

Project 80 Test Ship, Arkof-Class Assault Battleship

Ra-Jendora

While the basic design of the planned vessel remained unchanged, improvements and modifications were made to its armament and other components each year of construction. However, due to the increasingly severe cooling of space each year, the conventional Kogdal Engine increasingly experienced unstable output. In light of this, the Permanent Management Organization formulated Project 80 was formed, which called for the construction of a new vessel with an enhanced Kogdal Engine and Bolar Cannon. The new vessel was designated the “Arkof” type. Arkof means “noble ship,” “great ship,” or “large ship,” reflecting the high expectations placed on the new vessel at the time of planning.

Construction of the test vessel was assigned to Berth, a member state of the Federation. Contrary to initial expectations, this was said to have been a move to shift responsibility for the new vessel’s construction to Berth, rather than to the Permanent Management Organization, in anticipation of difficulties in the new vessel’s construction project. Berth gave this test ship the royal name Ra-Jendora, which means “one who rules” in the Bolar language. It was given to the royal family of Berth, who paid tribute to the Bolar Federation and were recognized as the rulers of the land.
